636 problem

636 problem

any of you 636 riders out there ever had your fuel pump stop working? i turn it on and everything else works but the fuel pump does not comes on. i checked the fuses fuel lines injectors and everything but nothing. i even bought a new pump but still it does not work. any ideas would be extremely helpful thanks.

You might try reseting your computer. Or check your tip over sensor.

The relays are good i swapped them out off a working 636 but no luck no response form the pump. how do I reset the computer and can i jump the tipover scensor?

yikes bro, unplug everything, then plug in the main harness and try to turn on the bike and then

I don't know if the 636's are like the F4i's, but if it is and there is a diode in the ignition those go out fairly easy. Try that avenue...

check your clutch switch and kick stand switch and what happend before this happend, u drop your bike? replace a part? ajust somthing?

no didn't drop it at all. i was riding circles combos around my girl then i tried to stall and jump to spreader. landed it and all was good. i parked it chilled for a bit but when i went to get back on the fuel pump would not come on. it makes all the other noises when i turn it on. the ignition works but the fi light flashes when i push but the injectors are clean.

yeagh its pissed off cuz i got off it for 5 minutes and that i put some other plastic on it till mine got painted. its stinn pissed cuz i just put he new plastic on and still nothing.

Check your on/off switch on your clipon they tend to break inside.
