Keith Marshall was going a recorded 130 when his front brake caliper came off going into a turn in a race this summer. He went right through the runoff and into the bails as did his bike. You *can* crash at 130 and live.
I'm not saying this guys friend did, though. The freeway and wheelie part of the equation add a huge percentage to the death factor.

Uhm. You don't ride the brake. You tap it a bit when you go too far back. At 130 mph you should be all throttle control pretty much, so if you go a bit too far back, tap back to bp.

ok since you guys are going crazy over this one lets all sit down and think about this one now since you all seeem to be brake ****** and obviously all you have to do is a tap tap read the ****ing title he was doing "130" now this is where you guys have to use your brain now if you are doing"130" i need to ask you how you are gonna have enough time to go tap tap on your little brake it is gonna go from bp to loop faster then you got off the first time you got your litlle noodle wet

EXACTLY!! How the fckc did he get going that fast on one wheel in the first place??? He didnt just blip it up at 130. He grabbed too much throttle or kept pushing it. The brake wouldve saved him. not too mention a little throttle control, and just as was said, his engine brake would have too. His boy and everyone else but you know what they are talking about...stop!!.
