yeah man R6's are fine just don't scrape, learn to rock 2nd bp wheelies, and save your money and pick up an f4i or something next year

Yeah I would also but its 1/4 the cost of another bike just for a subframe.

ill just reinforce the subframe like the guy did that had the pics!!!!!!!! alot better than spendin a **** load of money for a scrape works!!!!!!!!

we build a custom 12 bar and it like a tank and it saves your subframe and i rolled the bike hard a bent my forks and the bar and subframe is still good to go

i got a twelve already so ill stick to reinforcing the subframe. it doesnt look to hard! does anybody know where i could get one for somewhat cheap? obviously ebay! illcheck that soon

im a welder by trade and what they forget to tell you is that the subframe is cast alum and yeah welding will work but after awhile its going to start to let go and start crackin at the welds.

I build after market frames for the R6. I have an 03 and rebuilt mine and I havent had a problem since, and I beat on it!

I don't know what you're talking about dude! I've rocked an '01 R6 for over 2 years now. The bike's been down for some serious wrecks and it's subframe has held up better than any other subframe I've seen. You must have ridden yours off a cliff.

yea you have an 01 r6 though, the subframe on that is fine,

the 03-06 is horribly weak

I been looking at an 05 r6 every time I stop at the dealer and it looks exactly the same to me. Could be wrong though.
