Yes stock 636 cam chain tensioners ****...

you can mod up a GSXR one to fit and it works better than the stocker

or you can order a manual one... hit up HAI

APE manual tensioners are like $50 and yes they will get ride of the tick itck tick tick tick if you set the tension properly...

Dude.....My 04 636 has 40,000 miles on it of HARD running and it still runs strong as hell....still the factory clutch...Ive only replaced chain once....the bike is solid....it DOES have some weak points but they ALL do...

600rr, or F4i... sounds like you were talking to a Honda dealer... i rode wheelies all day a while back, and a few were over a mile long and when io checked my oil later that day i was 1qt low. that right there proved it's worthyness to me

i can vouch for the subframe for sure. it's solid. i've scraped several reflectors off the road and the subframe is still in tact and straight.

thats a different story.... those little s0n0fab!tches run forever unless you change the oil and forget to fill it back up... my last fiddy was a 1998 and I severely and unmercifully hammered the pi55 out of that poor bike... other than alcohol induced crash damage like bars and levers, i couldnt hurt it
