2 wheel drive motard endos

Ok, don't flame if it's a stupid question but one has to ask "Can you do an endless endo on a 2 wheel-drive bike?". I hear Yamaha came out with one and just wondering if we are going to start seeing people "endoing" down the free way :D

Re: 2 wheel drive motard endos

Ive never heard of a 2 wheel drive bike but that would be sick seeing a bike just riding around on the front wheel for miles :YEAH

Dumbest question ever. Think about it, then apologize for being an idiot.

I've seen it. it uses a hydraulic pump off the engine to vary the amount of power transmitted to the front wheel. it's a pretty sweet idea.

...? Why is that? If it works just like normal chain drive than what's the difference?

OK So how would it be done? The center of mass is behind the front wheel and when the front wheel accelerates, it drives that weight down not up like on the rear wheel. If there was a reverse you could do backwards wheelies like you can on a 4wd quad.

it can be done, when do a endo and make it seem like your going to filp over you just hit the gas and it will shot you back on the back tire

Maybe I didn't explain myself correctly. What I meant was for you to start an endo like you normally would. Two wheels down, pick up some speed, grab the front break and get into the balance point. Now instead of slowing down because you don't have anything driving you, you could stay for longer because the front wheel will pull you forward. You don't have to worry about dropping down because you already in your balance point.

But there is no way for positive acceleration. You can only slow down using the front brake, or hit the gas and not loop.

ok, you know how when you do a wheelie, you can do that with just the motor holding you up? Well the motor goes to the front wheel in this case, but the same principals apply. If you go too far forward, you give it more gas. If you're too far back, you let off the gas, or even hit the brake a little. Does this sound familiar yet?

Draw a picture with the center of gravity marked and think about it and what would happen.

Re: 2 wheel drive motard endos

I don't want to insult your intelligence so please don't take this as an offence, but the rules of physics are the same as for a standard wheelie but "inreverse". IF you are in your balance point and you accelerate you will, like you said drop down to two wheels, but if you use your front break to prevent that you'll stay up. The same concepts as for a regular wheelie.
