I've done that and it sucks... you lose certain tricks if parts of your bike are broke! its ok in a pinch, but why not eliminate the chance?!?!

thats right.I'm riding on nubs and it sucks.I might just reinforce the hell out of the stockers,aluminum or steel plate over them.

The SI round bars are nice on the 929's, they fit nice and clean!!

thats what i did and it works fine and clears the cage

im rocking an FI and its held up way better then i could have ever hoped for

looked at SS at 40 and watched the bike tumble like it was out of an action moive, didnt fvck up anything i was amazed
