Unhappy Avoiding an injury...

I just started the slow stuff and my bike went 1'oclock right off the start if you know what i mean. I let go of the bike but my jeans got caught somehow in the rear peg so the bike dragged me down the road and the foot peg dug a nice hole in my foot. Just wondering if there is any way to avoid this type of injury during slow stunts. I didn't really get hurt except for some knee and elbow scrapes but the hole in the foot put me out for a month since it did't really want to heal. Any help would be appreciated since I'm sure that I'm not the only one that went through this. Thanks!

Wear some boots... If you are going slow, the bike shouldn't be dragging you down the road just a couple feet. Next time when you hit 1 o'clock hit the rear brake dont bail.

sounds like a freak accidnet to me. you wont have to worry about that happening again, but in our sport wierd **** happens from time to time. people lose fingers and catch pegs to the dome. these are the risks you take...

Re: Avoiding an injury...

Thanks for all the advice. I guess I'll just wear some better gear next time and definately boots instead of regular sneakers and I'll work on the rear brake first before trying any more slow stuff. Thanks again to all that replied and stay safe while tearing it up out there!
