ok some of you know im about 260 pounds and stunting a CRF150, :YEAH

i could not get the R1 to wheelie to save my friggin life but the CRF was like a soul connection and im able to do almost anything on it:YEAH wheelies no problem!! any gear!!!

anyway's im gonna start buying and building up my street bike in jan and dont really know when to re start.

2007 600rr?

2003-2005 600RR?

02-03 054 RR?

back to yamaha? NOT!!!

this is going to be a pure stunt/play bike. no track! no crusies! no long trips!

im in the process of making the Crf street legal so im gonna ride that thing all winter long and practice

F4i, of course. Now that you've been practicing on the 150, you'ld wheelie the shiit out of that R1.

R1's wheelie without trying too, I can clutch all the way up through 3rd gear sitting down effortlessly on stock gearing...

But I agree with gixxer601, maybe now that you have more confidence in your BP any bike would work...

I personally prefer Yamaha...:YEAH

954 is a sick bike, real light and powerfull...wheelie machine, but good luck finding an adult only ridden...best advice I can give you is look at them when the motor is dead cold...an adult ridden non stunted 954 doesn't tick like crazy for the first 15 seconds when started...

I've had 3 954's... 2 of them were brand new and they ALL ticked. This is just what they do.

Every 954 I've ever been around has the same noise.... stunted or pampered.

So.....

Re: should i stay with honda in spring/summer of "07

The ticking noise is not a problem. It is supposedly the fuel injectors making the noise and they all seem to do it on the 954's!
