On the 636 ... i heard of guys like kane doing an air box mod to prevent the motor from getting oil lock or something like that...and what is the thing where the guys change the stator cover to an after market stator coverr?

Also i heard of guys turning the safety off so you can start it in gear... when my idle is up im shifting from n into 1st and its hard on the gears...but you can only start it in N... but i heard there are 2 wires you slplice together near the kickstand to prevent this?

And i flipped my clipons and put a radial mastercyclnder with a moose easy pull clutch... but im having a hard time getting it all to fit?

any advice for a newb?

let see the pic of how u set it up or u can get a FI clipon or even a DB bar.

 

I permanently grounded my Neutral switch so itll start in every gear and the kickstand wont turn the bike off
if you just cross the kickstand wires, it wont start in other gears but neutral if you dont have the clutch in

 

where is the nuetral swith at to ground down...that mod sounds pretty good

 

right near the shifter... its a single wire that goes to the little sensor.

 

ok first off. KLEEN mod blows valve cover gaskets. not allways but think about this if u have blow by pressure and ur just returning it to the valve cover, the easiest escape route for the pressure will be valve cover gasket. i've seen this happen on a gsxr 1k
