CRF150f HAND BRAKE

guys,

where would u get a hand brake for my dirtbike?

would a bmx one work?

would i need a rear master cylinder like sport bikes do?

should be a drum brake on the back......I have an 05 crf230.....same parts....

Its a drum so you can easily make a cable operated HB setup......You can do it exactly how people are doin them for 50's...Get a clutch cable long enough and make a custom bracket and adaptor for the rear end...very simple look in the 50 section to get an idea of how the setup needs to be.

YEA easier said then spent.

cost for a quick new set is about 2k rims/tires

cost effective everything new $700-900

the rims and tires are def on the to do list tho

look through a catolog for some kind of tire you can fit on your rim... mabey not the exact size but something close..

i know for the 50's i found a 80/90 moped tire that fits the rim

im pretty sure you can get a pair of street tires for stock rims for around $130-$150 ish...

Im still rocking kobbies, but they dont really hold me back (except on endo's)
