Re: CRF150f HAND BRAKE

u can still ride wheelies with ur knobbs....i do an my bike is bone stock... the only problem is not to get into a 12...the bike shuts off as soon as u let go for ur idle to kick in...and u dont really need to turn the bike into a stunt bike...it practically is.. easy to get the front up...and u dont even need a HB... no point!...

http://www.mawonline.com/chengshi.htm

i have a barrcuda 19 on my front.

i'd get a promaxx 16 for your rear. you'll need inner tubes, but a 16 inch tire will fit your stock rim.

i'd learn without HB first and then get one, i got one and the only thing i really use it for is spec-K circles

SS circles no HB no problem.

scroll down.

look for "Cheng Shin Maxxis ProMaxx Tires" in bold letters.

below that you'll see a list of tires.

"(63704) $42.95 Cheng Shin Maxxis ProMaxx 100/90-19 Front Tire Mfg.#: M6102901"

that line will get you a 19 inch tire for your front rim.

"(63720) $54.95 Cheng Shin Maxxis ProMaxx 130/90-16 Rear Tire Mfg.#: M6103601"

that one will get you a 16 inch for your rear rim.

no point in a hand brake?
Are you doing NTH HC circles????
How about HC circles period?
personally I think a HB is GREAT for expanding your tricks.. I dont have one yet, but im definetly gonna get one eventually.. Wanna get off the peg tricks on LOCK

To stop the bike from shutting off, turn the fuel off. Mine would stall out on tight circles or on really high wheeelies, but once the fuel is off, it'l stay running easy at 12.

Heres a vid of me on my 150

I just turn it off for each circle wheelie or high wheelie I do, then turn it back on for a few seconds before my next trick.

The only way to keep the bike running in high circles without shuting the gas off, is to rev it constantly, but then I can't get my circles super tight and slow

Re: CRF150f HAND BRAKE

turn the fuel selector to almost all the way off, with a full tank.

the bike stalls because it floods, this restricts the amount of gas, but still allows enough gas for full throttle.

as you burn gas you'll need to turn the fuel selector up.

turn it almost all the way off, but not all the way, so enough gas comes threw to keep it going.

a good way to judge is the over flow tube. if it's still puring gas, turn it more off, if it's not at all, turn it up.

you want it to still be leaking gas, just not as much.

i'v tried and tried and tried

at first all I tried was to turn it off and leave it on a little, but it always ends up dieing 5-10 minutes later cause it cna't get enough fuel.... OR it stalls out while high up cause it gets too much fuel

I just got into a habbit of shutting it off and leaving it off, and turning it back on for a couple seconds every few minutes

when doing it my way it will still bogg out if you hold a reallllll high wheelie for a long time, or just do a shitload of them one after the other.

the quick fix is to just rev the motor up HIGH, it drains the float bowl just enough and your good to go.
