get the gix but get the 750. A little more power and more fun than a 6. Just set the front down easy or you'll bust the head-tube welds... but that goes for all the fine-china bikes being made now. You just look at them with the thought of a wheelie and they break

they do look reeeal fragile.. the other day at our export place that we go ot dorp off cars.. they had a 06 1k gix.. with hardly any emblems on it.. i thought it was a 600 i sat on it and it felt lighter than my f4!!! then i noticed the frame and the pipe and realized it was a 1000!! and it seemed a lot lighter than my honda. it did look a loooot more fragile than my honda also haha..

both killer bikes but id take my 04 636 over an 06 gixxer anyday. they are geared to high

i actually got a chance to hop on a brand spankin new gixxer 6 today.. that bike is the ****! hands down

thats a cheap shot.. i'm workin on my wheelies man. so far i've done a few decent ones just distance is my problem. i didnt even ride today except for the quick run on the gix.. had to move 1,000 pounds of stones/bricks yesterday for some side work. sore as hell today.

but teh gsxr is nice i like that **** a lot.. and it felt twice as light as my bike

the 03 636. gsxr's are grea machines, but like the r1, have gotten fragile due to manufacturer corner sutting
