What a world of difference!

Well... I'll start of by saying i ride a 929 day in and day out.

I had the chance to ride a 600rr, F4i, and a 636 tonight all back to back. This was my take on them.

1st)600rr, -1+7= Nice bike seemed like it had no ***** though. Pretty fun to ride. If it's what your working with it will do a more than fine job.

2nd)F4i, -2+19, 929 front end= Also a nice bike, liked it better than the 600rr but it had turned out clip-ons and im use to DB bars so im sure that had something to do with it. Very easy bike to ride all around.

3rd)636, +15= Well.... I'll say this to anyone thats deciding between a f4i or a 636.... If you buy the f4i, in my opinion your retarded!!! This was by far the easiest bike i've ever ridin! If I could have a week on the thing im sure I would shock myself with the **** I would learn!

Now you have to understand this is my opinion. I know every bike is different, but out of the three I rode tonight the 636 takes the cake! I will be doing whatever I can over the winter to put one of these in my garage, thats for sure!

Anybody else that has ridin these bikes, i would love to hear your feedback to see how it compares.....

I think Ima pick one up at the auctions this year, either that or another f4i. Hopin for a 636 though, they just seem pimp.

Re: What a world of difference!

636 has alot more ***** than the 600rr or f4i
downside is I can break mine by looking at it wrong.

Re: What a world of difference!

That's what I like to hear. I have the oppertunity to get my hands on a 05 636 and I am all for it. I know the gas tank issue is nothing to really hold a guy back. I got alot of rust to shake off, the last bike I tore up was my old school 900RR. So I am quite confident I will be progressing rapidly.

I CAN"T WAIT!!!

+1 on teh 636 being a sweet bike, but man do they brake hella easy. my boy has one and Im afraid to ride it incase I drop it. Everytime it goes down, something breaks. Still sweet bike though

Re: What a world of difference!

so are they really that much easier to ride? i'm looking at getting rid of my 2000 gixxer750 and getting an f4i this week cause i think my gixxer is holding me back. should i try to pick up an 636? i have an 05 636 for a clean bike but i don't think i would like it to stunt.

i just want something with smooth throttle...this gixxer is killing me with the twitchy horrible FI

also, durability is an issue too....do the 636's break even with cages?

The 636 is a great bike but if u are worried about breaking stuff get the F4i......it won't hold u back and its just as easy to learn stuff on.

these guys are talking about stuff they already know. one thing about F4i's is it is nearly impossible to break them......get a 636 when you know O's and the rest of the slow stuff and are ready to start making your own moves up
