Re: Tires

hahaha Tomahawk colored tires! umm....no.

get a Pirelli Supercorsa for the front (super sticky, road legal). Look in the dealership junk pile out back for a rear...you'll find about 5 that will do.

I dont use the colored tires I use their black colored sports compound

your average rider IMO cant tell the difference between a 207 or a michelin H2 race or sportec.....

so why not get a cheaper alternative that are still capable of performing or outperforming the riding capabilities of 90% of the people who ride em

also didnt they buy ad space in your mag.. tsk tsk...

Re: Tires

anything used for stunting is fine I think. patched tires aren't that bad. but for street riding I prefer the pilot power or diablo

Re: Tires

Pilot powers all the way. My power was saturated in oil for 3 day when I brok my stator cover....I got on it and went straight into stunnin and it never even broke loose.....awesome tire....

Re: Tires

I agree with Kane on the black Tomahawks. They are on ebay right now for 59.95 just bought 2 they are a gd solid tire with deeper tread than most tires. Check it out they have a write up about the tire on ebay. The fronts **** though.

Also on ebay retreads that did not pass inspection are only $20. Great for burnouts they hold air the only thing is they buff out the names and DOT info. I bought five they hold up really well. They say the tires aren't road worthy but they seem fine. **** $20 who cares

Re: Tires

I heart my Maxxis Supersports cheap and they heat up FAST! I turned my bike on rode down a 1/2mi straight at the end I rolled an endo and it was about 65 degrees out. HAHA actually immediately after leaving the shop not driving 30yds I clutched up a sitdown no slippage and practiced on them with 30miles on them.

Re: Tires

i love runnin race tires.. You can haul *** into circles and they hold no matter what speed you come it at. Huge perfect contact patch for circles. Only problem is it makes dipping it in either on or off, where as the 208, a rounder tires makes that transition alot smoother.
