Got me a Bizzike....

So I picked up an 02 R6, Im pretty stoked. Its in good shape (for the time being) and its very mechanically sound.

Any R6 riders had any weird quirks I might need to watch out for with this thing?

This winter is gonna be toruture...the cage and 12bar are comin for christmas though so its cool.....

BTW...What pitch sprocket would work? Ive heard people say that you should go to 530 cause being on one wheel all the time eats up a 520, but ive heard people say that 520s work fine...

520,s work fine the bike itself is weak ,weak frame, weak subframe support the subframe before anything else or you will be buying another one quick

Ive heard that, but for some reason in Kansas City its hard to find a used honda or kawa, and the other bike I was looking at was an 01 Gixx....and after reading this site a lot ive pretty much decided against a Gixxer...and besides, im the kind of person who takes my time to learn things instead of just trying to throw down ridiculous stuff right out of the gate...

Re: Got me a Bizzike....

good luck, and like crotchy taught me, you should learn on stock sprockets and strictly work on rear brake control. If you are gonna change sprockets, just go with -1 + 2 your bike should be a 525 just change sprockets and you should be able to keep your stock chain. that will give you a little more pop! stuntin's gonna eat up sprockets no matter what but steel lasts longer than aluminum. stay away from the power wheelies!! just clutch it up!
