Anyone stunting an '06 GSX-R600?

This is pretty much a track only bike, but I put the street plastics back on last week and took it for a spin. I find it about 5000 f*cking x's harder to wheelie than my '02 750. You can't stagger (at least in my brief attempts) because the rear pegs are so high & forward, and standing both feet forward puts you MUCH higher/forward on the bike than the '02. Anyone else have this bike that can offer some helpful advise? I'm not looking to "stunt" it, just want to get my standups back.

I have done it on the 06 GSXR750 with no problem at all... Think they have the same frame design.. It will feel weird at first but you just need to clutch it up and get it high enough that your legs are straight.. won't even notice what year it is then... Just rock it out!!

I rode one last night on the streets yeah its a bit tougher to wheelie than i thought due to the fact the bike has no low end power but if u get the rpms nice and high that ***** is so damn smooth i likey

I own the '06 gsxr600 and the 750 is alot easier to pull up then the 600...so u cant really compare them...my advise to you is to get ur sit downs mastered first so u know where to bring it up and clutch it...and when your doin stand ups, staggered step is the way to go cuz of weight shifting...you dont wanna stand right over the bike...oo and make sure ur right foot covers that brake well....good luck:YEAH

This was my first bike and I started trying to stunt maybe a month ago and like most peopole said...theres not much power in the lower rpm's you have to get it up to at least 8.5k if ur gonna power it up I perfer 10k in 1st or 2nd and then crank on it but latley ive been trying to cluth it up...Some1 told me its a lot harder to clutch it ups because its a slip cluth i believe and most bikes arent...Idk how much i believe this person because they bs a lot...thats just my

attempting... he has turned 1/2's and 1 occasionally, but no, he cannot do them consistant on it. I think he was just slow rolling one in that pic and looking around his arm to see if anyone was in front of him, that pic is from a show where there was a lot of people riding and not much room.

Do you pratically have to redline it to get the bike up??

gotta give it a little bounce too... but if you are doing what you are saying, you should be flipping yourself right off the back fo the bike?!?!?!??! unless you are also letting go of the gas when you rip the clutch?!?!
