you have to stay in the gas, usually when you slip the clutch when you're learning you tend to let off the gas (it's not conscious) just stay in it and you probably don't need to rev to 13 if you're in 1st gear.

I rock a stock 05 gsxr600 and i can clutch it up going 10 mph, there should be no need to dump clutches, get to know your bike better, it helps to sleep in the garage next to your bike.

I rock a 06 gsxr 600. LOVE the gsxr for the streets but not so much the lot. The gsxr comes up NO problem bone stock. I ended up gearin it 1dn 4 up and like it even more.
As for staggered wheelies, don't have a problem with the footin either. I feel comfortable as hell on it. Plus the bike feels sooo damn light, I can take turns and throw the bike around much easier then any other bike I've rode.
