Re: strange f4i issue, check it!!!!! can u help!!!!

throttle bodies could be out of sync also....giving each cylinder a different mixture.

some of those other problems sound more likely, unless they are way out of sync. just something i would check along the route.

Re: strange f4i issue, check it!!!!! can u help!!!!

Sounds like the fuel pressure regulator but if that was the case you shouldn't have a sputtering in high rpms only down low. It does cause both center plugs to foul out though because of the excess gas.

Re: strange f4i issue, check it!!!!! can u help!!!!

if high end is ok and low end sucks then it's probably the fuel regulator. It's about 30$ new i think.

i don't think the 929/954 will fit, different part numbers.

Urban.....Greg just got a similar problem starting to happen to him l;ast weekend......his seams like ts only running on 3..............weird F4i problem. Post up if the shop figures anything up.

Re: strange f4i issue, check it!!!!! can u help!!!!

wiring harness has a short to power somewhere keeping things energized but with lots of resistantce causing large voltage drop which is why your FI light is on. sounds like tps sensor is bad... but hey it could be lots of other possibilities
