Re: Powers or Freestyle ????
the way the new powers f4i cage is, it puts the impact energy into the main spar of the frame, not the loop like the old model, and not the motor mount like the FI. plus it protects higher up to prvent rolling up onto the tank. look at pics of it on powers website.
powers all the way.
powers all the way.

powers.... only cage i have been able to keep on my bike
and i've ran most of em :YEAH (3 905's,SI, and Powers) The powers cage is the ONLY cage that i can keep attached to the bike. Not to mention not bending. The FI cages seem to be gangster on the F4i though - but i think it would be better once you figure your game out...
SI's new design is supposed to be bulletproof - but mine wasnt.

Mine sure as hell is.... I've never had a cage on my bike this long. And I've also never crashed my bike up as bad as I have this season.

SI is THE ONLY cage for the f4i.

Powers. My buddy wrecked 2 weekends ago doing about 50 mph, bike went down on it's side, cage hit a f**King rail road tie, bike flipped, buddy shattered his collar bone, bike had broken plastic, thats it. The cage was scratched up of course, but it didnt even bend or bust a bolt loose, i bought the cage from him the next day, bolted right up, amazing. This is on Gixxer 6.

+1 ^ EVERY cage will fail eventually... Especially if your learning. ![Fiddy](https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/images/smilies/fiddy.gif)
SI's F4i cages are supposed to be gangster - and they're cheap... Plus Ian has been making strides with his product... The only downside to powers is that they are real expensive for what your getting (20-50 $ in tubing and supplies at MOST, but not including time spent building)
