04 636 question

has anyones start to cut out around 3000-4000 then clears up above 4500

it just started to do this to nite when riding it didnt crash when it started to do this


its like its running lean

check your injection system, plugs, air filter and also try some injector cleaner.

beavers, ed's 636 did that... it was an exposed wire that was sending a signal to the FI that kept the nozzle spraying fuel at full pressure... it was flooding out his bike and it would run like **** til he got past 5-6K rpm...

check all your wiring!!!

ok i just got done putting new wiring harness in replaced all 4 coil caps cam sencer new spark plugs and its still doing the samething

check the kick stand wires. ernie had something similar to that and his kickstand wire was cut.

maybe the timing was off then. that could have been the problem the whole time.. i got the burnout you did outside on tape il post it in a few days your bike sounds like a lawnmower
