gsxr oil pickup questions...help

Hey guys whats up? I have a 02 gsxr 750 which is my everyday rider, but this winter im gonna stunt it out and lot ride while its cold. Im just wondering if the stuntex pickups have any negative affects on your motor if im just tryin to cruise or have to take it back to stock gearing. I have heard that the pickups can blow your oil seals.....Any feedback would be appreciated

Blow Your Oil Seals? It Is A Tube That Runs To The Middle Of The Pan Instead Of Going To The Front. The Only Negative Is Stoppies Will Cause The Oil Light To Come On. Holla If You Want One.

^^^ I seriously doubt you blew the bottom end because of stoppies.. you most likely blew it because of bar tricks. I designed the stuntex gsxr pickups to not starve during wheelies, not on the bar. It will still starve on the bar. We improved that with the f4i design. The only way to hurt the motor while doing stoppies is banging the limiter. Or *maybe* if you are doing gorka style stoppies. If you are the man at stoppies, just run synthetic. and dont bang the limiter.

i used to get knocking noise's after long stoppies that lasted a few seconds. never had a noise on the bar i over fill to the top of the sight glass. sure it was from stoppies, it ran sweet in wheelies or on the bar.

Re: gsxr oil pickup questions...help

13000 miles on my 05 600, all with a pickup. About half of the miles are in the lot and the other half includes a lot of street stunting. It works, got one or blow your motor.
