dude the bike will power up in 1st no prob... 2nd takes a bit of bounce. but if you clutch it up you will have a better knowledge of when it is goin to come up but ya seriously you should go with -1/+2 and highway will be no problem. go with new sprockets and a new 525 or 530 chain 520's seem to break real easy on that bike when clutchin (maybe cuz the are lighter and ****) but seriously be careful and take your time cuz this **** don't just come to you through osmosis.

or buy the skill button from www.haibikeshop.com
to go -1 or -2 in the front just use a hammer and smash them teeth off,works better then aftermarket :YEAH
i'd do it to the rear too if i was u

Sounds to me like you want the bike to wheelie for you...not gonna happen. If you change the gear ratios so it will come in all gears, your throttle is gonna be waaaaay touchier.
