1000RR clutch question

1000RR clutch question
sup guys. i've got the clutch down on weaker bikes, but i want to start clutching my '05 1000RR. just worried about getting to ambitious on the launch and looping her. what would you guys recommend, 2nd or 3rd gear? i'm leaning towards trying 3rd. whaddaya think?

the 1000rr actually takes quite a lot of gas to get up when bone stock compared to other liter bikes

Honda designed the bike with a slightly longer swingarm/wheelbase than it's predacessor(the 954) to make it alot less wheelie prone.
