icon field armour

a few months ago i had bought a icon vest and since the day i got it the velcro that holds the side flaps attached to the rear and connect to the front sucks.. the vest is constantly coming undone and its less a protective vest and more of a bib... anyone else have problems with their gear from icon?

Well ICON jackets have a disclamier on the inner lining. The disclaimer reads that they dont test there jackets to be personal protective equipment.

i saw lynn wearing the same thing out here only it connected with buttons not velcro i wud upgrade to that...replace the vest, replace the velcro, or sow on buttons...those are my suggestions

only Icon I have is my street gloves. they are sturdy as hell, and the velcro is fine after about a year of heavy use

been using icon (jacket, gloves and field armor) for a while and never had any problems, just wear and tear from everyday use

Take it back to the place that you got it from and they should be able to send it back and get you a new one.........

well i had got some velcro from wal*mart and just used safety pins for now and it seems to be working out.. until i get stabbed then i'll probably have my g/f or my mom sew that **** in... but i know all velcro goes bad... but i just bought it and it sucked...

dont get me wrong.. i love the gear.. its designed awesome.. just the velcro used blows...

there are several companies that offer vests like alpinestars, tekinc, dianese, spidi and probably many more but the icon vest rocks :YEAH

but what is the real benefit of having the vest in the first place? does it have spine protecion or what because if it does i would love to get one
