Re: icon field armour

I love all my icon stuff. Went down riding backwards not more than 2 hours ago. Bike just shot right when I turned around and drove right towards a curb. I That vest saved my ***... well saved my back. I've never had troubles with the velcro.

Re: icon field armour

with the exeption of a helmet, the only thing gear does is keep you from getting road rash. other than that gear is just a false sense of security when it comes to breaking bones. i just wear the vest because i would hate to have my sharp *** bar slice my back open or hit me in the chest somehow.

Many a rider is still able to walk because of impact absorbed by a good back protector....

Cool Re: icon field armour

I just had a pair of Icon street gloves split along a finger seem.
Took em back, got a new pair and they're solid so far.
I'm def going for a vest though.
The 12 bar's on the way so I guess they'll go together!!
Fabric upgrading is always pretty easily pulled off.:YEAH

Re: icon field armour

I bought this off ebay. It's a brand I've never heard of but... it works for me pretty good. The lower part acts like one of those back support belts, big velcro elastic straps. I suppose you could cut off the arms an use it as just a vest but... I use it as is, I feel alot more aggressive when I'm wearin it!

that's all it has is spine protection but if you crash hard enough to do spinal damage and that's all your wearing what happens to the rest of you?
