radiator support? please help...

i ride a '01 f4i and my radiator keeps wanting to
brake off from dropping the front wheel a little
to hard from time to time. Does anyone weld
any braces on it or do anything for extra support?

get the big wide zip ties, it helps if you start off with a rad with good mounts, run the zip ties from the right side of the radiator hose to the frame bar. do the same on the other side. I've had the same problem in the past and now it's perfect.

Re: radiator support? please help...

I did the zipties for the side but also used some of that metal band that is used to hang A/C ventalation systems. Its like 1/2'' thick and already has holes drilled every 1/2'' or so. I cut a piece and ran it around my radiator and put the stock top radiator bolt through the two ends and then screwed it back into the top frame mount. You can get it at Lowes, its like $3.00 for a whole roll.
