I took mine out, cleaned them with laquor thinner, cut back the electrodes and regapped the plugs to a smaller gap. ***** runs better than ever.

I was just jokin.. I don't know what plugs the F4 uses...prolly the same... Yeah, tell him to get into a fuel injected bike.. Those F4's are notorious for flooding and hydrolocking.

Re: Change your sparkplugs!!

take that part numer off the plugs and go to advance instead of a cycle shop.
you will save lots. i can't remember which plugs i put in mine but they are the cheaper ngk's and they were like 1.30 and the dealer wanted close to $5.00

Re: Change your sparkplugs!!

hey... I've change my spark plugs... I'm still getting a wicked bog in high rpms... seems like the first 3 are firing but the last one sometimes does and sometimes doesn't... my gixxer did the same thing, and it was the throttle body sensor... I cleaned everything out on the honda, put new plugs on.. and its like the coils keep coming loose... I'm not sure what the deal is now...

I got another throttle body.. and it has extra tubing, that wasn't on my old one... wtf?

this is freaking annoying.

Re: Change your sparkplugs!!

so looking at the new throttle body... it has a charcoal evap system that my old on did not... but my f4i itself didn't have the vaccum system, so I hooked it up to the air vent system off the tank.

seems to be cherry so far.. guess I'll find out tomorrow when i take it out.
