Re: 190 tires and circles

Running a 190 on my F4i, I can lean the bike over further on circles and it gives me more grip, but for straight line stuff it'll give me more of a wobble. Makes sense because if you look at the cross-section of the rim and tire, running a 190 series will give you more an edged tip to run on rather than a rounded flat surface. Basically, you're squishing a fatter tire on the same size (width wise) rim making the tire pancake giving you a triangle shaped tip to ride on.

definatly not true man, the f4i rim is 5.5 vs a litre bike has a 6 inch rim, my Pvm rear rim for my f4i is 6 inches wide. What it does is pull the tire out wider and give you a wider contact while going straight. If you run a 190 on a 5.5 the tire is going to be more peaky than if it was on a 6.0. I like the 180 on the 6.0 rim. Just kinda sucks once it gets worn out because it's harder to lean it into the circle but goes straight really easy. Oh and I always run the same tire, same pressure all the time. Keeps your riding more consistent

Re: 190 tires and circles

you can only run the fat bars if they are fat lik zuchini's and you nail fat chicks with them while pulling your foot over into podium. however this can be bypassed if you knock the popcorn out of ONE young unsuspecting man's hand. anymore than that and its mousetrap for sure

dunlop 209 qualifiers, 25psi to start and up it to 30 once it gets worn out a bit.
