I have seen in many stunt videos and pics, bikes with front fork sliders. I am not sure if that is what they are called but they look exactly like a frame slider but they are attached to the center of the wheel. They are used to prevent the rim and front end from being damaged when laying the bike down. Can anyone please tell me what they are callled and where can I buy them for a 01 GSXR 1000?

they are originally for the swingarm but u can use them for the forks too

Heres a question than, I have seen tandem riders do tricks with them, but does anyone use them for stunts...ie like pegs on a bmx bike for tricks...stoppies or somthin???

 

I have not seen anyonr do stunts with them. I just know it cost a whole lot of money buying new rims everytime I fall....lol
