ya when I rode one it felt twitchy too, but I need a bike for 12 tricks only, I'm pretty sure I want fuel injection.

There are too few R1 stunters out there, if you could make the 02 FI work right that would sick. I would love to see some nasty 12s tossed down on an R1.

yo!

just out of curiousity.... how long you want it to stay runnin?? i have a dubl er and when im goin for distance i usually start draggin at about 30-35 mph. i know i have scraped well over 200 feet without the bike stallin. seems like you wouldnt need much more distance than that. i will always say that a RR is the way to go man... NOT BECAUSE ITS EASIER!!! to be honest, im kinda sick of hearin that, but because it is a SOLID BIKE!! im sure anything will be better than the R1 though dawg!! props for using yer weapon to the fullest!! good luck on whateva you get!!LATA!

02 R1

the R1 is nice but my buddy just totaled his scraping it. It not a real tough bike as soon as he hit the tail snaped in half .

I wasnt thinking about scraping that long but sometimes my bike will want to die before I even scrape!!! And when I do park it it's dead as soon as it touches down, I would like it to keep running for at least 15-30 seconds, so I could at least do a ape hanger. I'm pissed off because I want to learn these tricks and I have to get a diffrent bike to do it, this sucks!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn If you get a better bike for stuntin its not gonna be good for the rest of us! HAHA Who's the sukka thats gonna buy your old bike? I can see the ad now Yamaha R1 ,never abused ,never down, older mature rider, custom paint, low miles, runs great.

.

I had a 99 900RR and stepped up to a 01 929RR i hated the 929 when i started riding it but after a few solid days of riding her i wouldn't go back to a 900RR at all. The 929 does have a wierd throttle response though, and is a bit unstable with standups because its so light compared to the 900 RR but all in all i like the 929..

Re: 900 double r!!!

i stunt a 02 r1 its not great for slow stuff it gets a lil wobbly and it could be a lil more sturdy when rollin slow. but its not a bad bike at all. ive droped it a few times and nothin really major happend just the lever and small stuff like that. but yea its a good bike for sure.
