Slippidy Slip?

I searched through as many threads as my brain would let me, and couldn't find anything on seat spreaders; if there is a thread on it, sorry i started another repeat thread..and..just throw me the link, please.

Anywho, i have been trying to get seat spreaders down, still a huge newb. everytime i go to clutch it, i slide back really hard either resulting in me locking my arms to stay on or dropping me legs down unintentionally...

anyway, do i just need to hold on and go for it, or do u throw ur legs out after ur around BP (i see guys in videos throwing their legs out as they're clutching it and figured thats just what u do) or what. any help would be appreciated
