It's kind of funny, but anyone who has ever had a 954 has never really said anything bad about them. Tadao Baba got it right when he built that bike. Honda should go back to the drawing board and get Baba to do it again. The 1000rr is sweet, but because of the longer wheelbase it was designed to keep the front wheel down for the track.

gixxers are good for topspeed and thats it... alot of people hate on honda and talk crap about how there slow but i have lived my life of 200mph who cares **** my fiddy will do almost 60 who cares about going that fast i would deffinetly go with the 954 for the power and the life of the honda against you blowing that gixxer up

Yeah It was a LONG night last night.. buck it what else would I be doing at work other than some SLing or myspace..lol
Yeah that tranny isn't that bad just a lil gear whinn in first and second from clutching it all the time.. just sounds like that 60 tooth is roaring a lil bit..
I think I am going to do it.. that 954 looks a hella lot better than my crunchy *** gixxer ever has!!!

Ridin a couple GSXRs, have an R1, someone stole my 929 and crashed and died - I miss my 929 more than any other bike i've ridin - their power to weight ratio is bad *** and the 954 is very similar, with a bit more power. I wouldn't hesitate to take the 954 - just built way better.

yeah the cut down yoshi is a lil freaking loud after about 6 hours or so of riding my head is killing me!! The power comander is great.. love it.. gixxers always have crappy throttle response with a lil dead spot.. a little fine tunning and it's gone. Yeah I think I will ditch the gixxer I am starting to like the idea of having a windshield again!! lol..

THe 954 is light like a 600, actually its the same dry weight as the 2002 F4i. (I think 370lbs each) I had the CBR f2 and it felt like a tank compaired! I also rode the 1000rr and you can feel the extra weight compaired to the 954. Its a sick bike, you wont be disapointed.
The Mileage seals the deal for me...
