what does anyone know about powers stuntworx cages... 280 dollars is it worth it???

 

every penny. now wait for about 6 riders that all ride for different cage companies are gonna come in this thread and plug their product. and then 6 people to call you a squid/newbie and tell you to search.

 

well i did surch but every site is going to promote their product so there is no better way than to hear it from someone that uses them right..

i love mine, i jsut crashed a 12, the bike flew up landed on the cage and slid quite a distance, and my bike and the cage are still in great shape :YEAH

 

 

yea dude definitely if u can afford it get it it will save u alot of money and alot fustration

 

I heard they came up with a new design and If they have addressed the shin issue (u'll have sore shins mang) then go for it , if not then it's not worth the money they want for it get a sick Innovations it's as solid and cheaper

 

i have a sick innovations cage and it is solid but i have an f4i....i haven't seen any of the cages yet for the 06 gsxr...although i've seen powers take an absolute beating...if they fixed the shin problem i would get it.

 

Powers is the best IMO and I've tried the top 3. Just sold my FI cage and bought another powers. It's the 5th powers I've gotten. 905, FI, are junk compared to the Powers. Those are the 3 cages I've tried on a few different bikes and I've gone back to powers each time.

 

here is a non bias opinion on powers... one of my boys got a cage from them for his buell and the 1st crash it broke his head in 2 pices he talked mad **** about it online and pisted them off then they talked **** about us "Arctic Attack" it turns out the bolts that go into the head where too short and all it took where longer bolts to take the force of a crash better.
any way I have the powers cage on my Buell and it's taken a lot of HARD hit's the ***** it strong as hell !!!!!! and there construction is top notch..

 

I talked the **** and i still will! i run no cage now someone needs to develop a absorbing cage not one that just puts the force into the motor and that is what all cages do right now. sometimes it works sometimes it dont but im done hating on cage makers so just give it a shot all this sport does is cost you money anyway......... but nothings better than the first REAL circle you pull off so good luck!

 

My first cage was Powers, and it was worth every dollar. Very Solid. I sold it like a dumba$$ for some quick cash, but now im kicking myself in the ***** because im trying to get it back.

 

ive gotta powers on my 04 gix and im not saying its the best but it takes a lot of hard hits and its holding up really good and it seems like alot of people with gixxers are running them and ive never had any problems hitting my shins on the cage bit every cage fails they can only take so much but when mine does I will most likely buy another powers

 

i have a original powers..been threw 3 years of beatings..still holding up strong..if anybody can show me how to post a pic, one that would upload the rite size ill post it...02 gsxr 600...going strong...

I rock a 905... HATE IT! its good for street protection... 1. its smaller 2. you can corner... about the same price... but I wanna get a powers buddy has one and he dumps it over with the extended fram sliders and its bea-utiful! I dropped mine doing a 180 dregee slide and snaped my front fairing in 3 places 14 zipps... anyway Fucccck 905 cages... Powers is def a good "stunt" cage, dont get me wrong I like 905 12's and what not good company just their cage sucks for stuntin...
