can the popo use the strip on us?
Does anyone know if the cops can use a spike strip on a motorcyclist? I mean cmon they might as well shoot us, especially if we arent wearing gear or speeding really.....really.....really...... rediculously... fast. I am not certain on the law, but this would definetly make up my mind about running or not! Guess I need to learn to ollie/bunny hop/whatever the stunt is called where you hop the bike in the air, but timing wouldnt be easy on that trick at high speeds.

and here in canada they wont use it and I'm guessing they wont in the states either cause its suppose to be a PEACEFULL resolusion to a high speed chase......not a messy way to kill someone

I saw a cop with a billy club closeline a biker off his bike trying to run from at bike night in las vegas summer 03.

so ya i bet they would use spike strips.. ******...

ive personally witnessed dudes get tackled and close lined off of bikes from doing burnouts at our local bike rally here in upstate ny, and ive seen videos of cops ramming bikes from behind when they were running. they pretty much do whatever the **** the want.

I've seen and heard of bikes beeing rammed but I still dont think they can use spikes on a bike. anyone ever here of this actually happening?

I suppose if you can't "bunny hop" the bike over the strip..last resort would be to pull a stoppie over it, then wheelie the other side 'till you get away...could work.
