My bro got one for his 03 ninjaRR, freakin pimp, far far ahead of anything else out there on the market, I don't know why people are complaining about the price in some of these posts, the quality and craftsmanship are leagues ahead of anything out there right now. P? P? where are you P?

i've never owned a product over engineered as much as this stay.
It's bulletproof and i've crashed and flipped on it many times...
Broke 3 stock stays this season, for a few $$$ more buy yourself a piece of art.
Don't even think twice about buying one of Johnny P's stays...Just do itttttt!

Do you think you'll have a bike to use to make 05-06 636 stays? And I would still like one for my 03-04 636 also, when you make another run of them.

Re: Starting production of my 636 stunt stay, need some feedback
My 6'x12' sheet of aluminum just came in today, going to the machinest this afternoon to tell him to go ahead and cut enough parts to make 10 03/04 636 stays. I already have enough of the tube sections bent and notched for those, so I hope to have them deburred and welded by the middle to end of next week..
I have an F4i comming into the shop hopefully this weekend, I hope to have the F4i stay design finalized and a few prototypes made by next weekend aswell....I'll be making 3 of those first to test 1 is for inolen, 1 will be offered to the guy lending me the bike, and the other will be up for grabs for anyone interested. All will be exactly as I posted before but with the one angle fixed so its easy to install.....After that I'll have to wait and see intrest before I cut out any more F4i ones, but I know have plate aluminum in stock so 10 can be made in about a weeks time....
My plan for the 2 weeks after both the 03/04 636 and F4i stays were done, was to start on a 05+ 636. I talked to a friend that has one a few weeks ago and he said I could borrow the bike, I'll be calling him next week if I get the bike then thats what Im going to focus on.....If it doesnt work out I can move on to the 954, I already have one of my freinds here at the shop but its a street fighter My friend that owns it has a headlight but I have to find an upper and side fairings or borrow another friend of mines minty one.....
If its not already obvious my ridin season is done here, its ****in freezin and I have nothing to do so all Im workin on is bike **** 24/7.....I also have a 03/04 636 stunt subframe in the works, made of square solid billet instead of the OEM hollow square tube..Ive trashed 3 subs already and the failure is aways due to the square tube cracking and kinking.....
10 03/04 stays avialable within 1-1 and1/2 weeks
1 prototype F4i stay aviable within the next 2 weeks, more can be had within a weeks time
plan to have 05+ 636 or 954 stays within a month
And I will post pics as soon as I have anything new to show
Thanks guys

Re: Starting production of my 636 stunt stay, need some feedback
I went to my machinest today and actually saw his waterjet in action today cutting some of my parts, and that **** is ****in cool.:YEAH The sheet just lays there and a nozzle shoots a tiny stream of water at 50,000 PSI that will go through 6" of steel! It usually just mists and makes a hissing sound, you cant even really tell its cutting as theres almost no friction. Every now and then it moves fast while cutting and makes a big splash in the pool of water under the sheet. Anyways you guys probably dont give a **** but being a CNC programmer/operator myself this kida stuff gets me all exited, might just have to post a vid...
Anyways back to the important stuff.........F4i is being dropped off tommorow night, gonna work on getting that angle right all weekend till I get it right so I can have the parts cut out monday. Besides that Ive only got one problem, tying to find a resonable price/supplier for blind jack nuts or well nuts....inolen Im on it!
954 Guys your in luck! The guy I know with a minty 954 just so happened to walk into my shop today to say whats up....I can have his bike in the shop some time next week, but I havent really looked at the OEM stay on that bike. So does anyone have any pics of the OEM or an aftermaket setup? And is there any specific problems or suggestions I should address first, just tryin to brain storm a little? Also will the 954 stay also fit a 929 or are they different?

Re: Starting production of my 636 stunt stay, need some feedback
I think I've got a damaged 954 upper stay that I'll give you for R&D purposes. It's not too bad and I think the only thing that's wrong with it is a broken mirror ear. The 929 stays are different than the 954 stays. I'll get back to you and let you know for sure if I do have it.
