Goals

Re: Goals
Speaking of goals...
Ed and I were out practicing stoppies tonight... we said we're not stopping til we both hit 300ft from 150ft approach...
We both nailed it, multiple times (even hit 310 once)... and were consistantly in the 290's
Oh and our spot is measured, marked and we had someone watching our pickups to make sure they were on time.
It's nice to have someone out doing the same thing as you to push you!!!
What's everyone else rolling from a true 150ft start???

That I think is so important, to have people to ride with. I am consistently riding by myself, it sucks!!!

I only drink after I ride, I would hurt myself more than I already do even with 1 beer in me.
I hear you on the loosening up thing though.

Re: Goals
my HB gave out (normally I don't blame the parts but I know how to SS and it looped on the HB, so.....) and I went down on my hand. the day I got the bike rideable I sprained my ankle.
6 weeks off and I lost a lot. my combos are weak and my throttle cont is crap. stoppies are decent though (for me)

Yep I feel ya on that, my shoulder (dislocated it a couple of times) has really slowed me down this year too. everytime I feel good enough to get out there, I ride like crap for a while. Which sucks because I set really high goals for myself everytime I go out there.

Re: Goals
i have one goal every time i ride, and that is to have fun, everynight i ride i do something differnet, i never plan what im gonna do, just what ever comes that session is what i do. Or whatever i feel like practicing, and i realized when i start getting frustrated with something i its because im not havein any fun., i also learn something new almost everynight, even its something small like kane said :YEAH

Anyone else ride like this? Any methods to the way you attack particular tricks?
