Cbr600rr 12 Bar
Me and my buddy wana put 12 bars on our 600rrs but we are hearing a lot of people arent using them cause of weak subrframes. I looped my bike last week and twisted my subframe and now that I have all the fairing off its easy to see how flimsy they are, it seems the point that they will snap off is at the end were the exhaust comes out. Does anybody have any ideas on how to reinforce these subframes so they dont break as easy, and does anybody have any pics of 12 bars on their 600rr. Thanks.

good welder and be creative....you can find a way to reinforce it with some aluminum or somin......strap some steel from the passenger brackets to the rearset bolts. My 600RR does fine with a 12 bar.
Make sure you make the 12 bar long enough to strap your cooler onto though....haha

thought a picture was gonna load didn't you? Well, you can't have it!
No, my modem card in my PC got fried by an electrical surge or somin like that.....all my pics are on it. Gotta get a new one of those thingys and become friends with a computer nerd......or just talk Dan Jackson into it(he's a computer nerd...not sure where he had time to learn to ride like that? ).....so someone can install the damn thing! THEN I could post some up............otherwise hit up sickinnovations.com they make a nifty flat bar and a nice round bar for the 600RR.

Re: Cbr600rr 12 Bar
Scrappin the tale is deff were its at lol, even though ive yet to do it!
Should I put a 12 bar on if im just learnin slow wheelies..im at the point of just trying to snap the front end up in bp from a stop, only problem is i can get it there for a second, but i cant hold it there, my foot is on the brake and applying small amount of pressure, i guess a lil more practice and I will be able to hold it there longer, and longer. Im startin to get the feel for how fast the bike lifts from a stop(just under idle speed) 1.5 ....
Does anyone suggest i turn my idle up some more before i get used to 1.5 idle speed?
I know there is a million posts on wheelies, ive read alot of them!
Any advice would help!!
Thanks

from a dead stop and to ride at 12, your gonna want to turn your idle up...
for scraping though, clutch it up and go faster and pull in the clutch and drag the tail, then let out the clutch and ride away...
for the 600rr your gonna need to move/put in another idle cable because you cant adjust the stock one enough.
luckly i snapped mine last night so i get to do it again. ill take pics while im doin it. its a b1tch cuase of where it is on the RR, its acutally easier to take the throttle bodies off to do it.

Re: Cbr600rr 12 Bar
The problem with mine was I could turn it up to 3500 then it would get stuck there and I cant turn it down. Now I cant adjust my idle at all, what should I replace the idle cable with cause now I have the bike apart for changing the throttle cables so just as well to do it all the one time.
