i have seen a 94 f2 for sale with 79k on it

in california someone told me there is a law for bikes that when it gets past 50k its illegal but it cant be no bs like that

 

thats gay if they can really tell you how many miles you can have... so what the expect that everyone has the money to just get a new bike??

probably not.. i was reading now this is a diffrent kind of bike but this admiral in the navy wrecked his bmw i dont know exactly the modle it had 300,000 miles on it.

There are a couple of guys on the R1 forum with over 100k on their R1's. One guy has 110k on an 02.

i got a homie with a 929 that had 129 on it a while ago! Granted he leaves the parkin lot every once in a while and rides hard in south floridA! I was down there for like 4 months and put on 12 with stock gearing! my homies bike that stays at my house in ri was bought in 2003 brandy new has only 15hundred! === livin up north sucks!

What about gearing? Wouldn't that make the speedo not accurate. All those miles might not be actual miles put on the bike.

I read about a cbr900rr with 108,000 and still going only replaced things like the starter and wear items like that but if treated right there run for a looong time

 

i've seen multiple BMW's with over 100k, but also have a friend with a 00 R1 with almost 80.

 

and it's still faster than any of ours.
