question for everyone that has a 600f4i

What temp does your bike run at on a normal 85-90 degree day. My r6 never really went higher than 219. My f4i on the other hand goes up to 230 then the fan cuts on and takes it slowly back down. My buddies 04 gsxr 750 was only running 209 when mine was at 230. Is it normal for them to run higher or what. Im thinking i need to flush the radiator. Thanks

flush the radiator, hard wire the fan, u'll be golden, or, my solution, take off your gauges.. i estimate mine runs at 105*'s all day

Re: question for everyone that has a 600f4i

my 01 gixxer 1K fan kicked on around 180, but my 03 gixxer 600 fan kicks on at 225...whats up with that? Is it possible to use 1k thermostat or something to make my 600 fan kick on at 180??

Re: question for everyone that has a 600f4i

When moving it runs at about 190, but I dont normally go less then 80mph either, so Im sure that helps.

When sitting still in traffic lights though, I do notice it jumps to like 225 and the fan kicks on.

ha on my 99 gix750 i had it up to 276 i believe, when doing a tire bolwing burnout. needless to say it was spewing coolant all over. ha it still ran good after that, but everything else always broke. thats why i got an f4i.
