yep i did this to the " T" and all i did was make alot of noise lol,

i have a feeling the bike isnt running right since my cus slapped on that straight pipe and didnt re map the PC

if you cant get it up at the rpms you stated then you probably are mis understanding how you rev it up. you dont twist the throttle enough with the clutch in so you have a steady 9000 rpm you twist the throttle and while it is climbing up then let the clutch out when it reaches 9000 and stay on the gas. by the way 9000 is just a number, you experiment on your own.

how about this, use first gear, get going like 15, pin the throttle.. it'll come up, i can't believe i just told someone to do a power wheelie, but it saves me 10 mins of typing

i don't understand...i rode my buddy's R1 and i had to stop it from wheeling when i was just riding it normal....i think the chain is loose on his bike the throttle has MAD play oooooh i know... 500LBS + rider..... just lean back...the bike should wheelie all by it self.

Try going 55-60 mph and clutch it pretty good if it dont come up at that speed theres somthing wrong with the bike

if he don't know how to clutch it up it doesn't matter what speed he's trying it at....he'd hurt him self hella more at that speed.....

Your right, im just sayin with stock gears sit downs were easeier to pull up in second at that speed on my R1

does it have GAS?

even if the pipe is on backwards it should still wheelie...
