UPDATE: As Rocky had said, Rich has been moved from ICU to a room of his own. A few of us went up to see him last night, he is doing very well, he is healing faster than any of the doctors can believe! He is in good spirits, which means the most. He doesnt have internet access right now but he was given a print out of all the pages on Stuntlife and everything that you all have said on this forum! So wish him the best, certainly all of your prayers and support have paid off because he is doing exceptionally well for all that he has been through!

Re: "Stuntposer" Down
hey everyone,
I'm back home after a very rough recovery in the hospital but I still have a long way to go. As you all know I was in a very serious accident. I lost my right leg(from the knee down) and right right kidney also fractured L1 through L5 vertebra and pelvic bone. The gaurd rail also split my back open from one side to the other.
I had alot of good people stop and help me and if it wasn't for them I would have never made it to the hospital. I aslo don't think I would have recovered as fast if it wasn't for people like all of you and your thoughts and prayers that you all have givin me. I want to thank all of you for your comments which I have read them all. We are all one big family even with all the hate
As far as riding again. I have alot to over come first. I should be getting a leg made in the next month or so. It's gonna be really cool but it's gonna be hard to get used to it kind of like learning to stunt ride. I def. plan on stunt riding again but I think I'm done with the streets unfortunatly. Hope you all understand. I just don't want to put my family throu this agian. I am also in very good spirits and just happy to be alive. I def. look at life differently now.
thank you all very much!!!

By the way, my best friend lost his left leg from below the knee when we first started riding... he has been skateboarding since 86' with me... and he still hasn't quit. He still does kickflips, heelflips, skates miniramp and ledges.
