Re: brembo master cylinder help...

I used to have a brembo race MC for my handbrake and I found out that even though all your lines are solid there can still be air trapped in the master cylinder itself. I was pushing solid fluid from the caliper's bleed valve for like a whole hour until I called a friend and he gave me some advice. I had to take the banjo completely off the MC and hold my thumb over the outlet and bleed it right side up. When solid fluid was pushing past my thumb, i carefully put the banjo back on the MC and my HB was finally rock solid.

Re: brembo master cylinder help...

By the way, the stock front nissn 3/8 inch master cylinder from my 03 gixxer 600 (super easy to bleed) was better suited for my fullthrottle HB than the brembo 19x18 race master cylinder I 1st tried using. I tried a guy's handbrake with a brembo 16x18 and it was even stronger. I don't think you need it that strong actually..... unless you're really REALLY choppy with the throttle.

Re: brembo master cylinder help...

yeah,
the thing is, im riding a 954 right now until my 600 gets here... so when i over compensate with the throttle in circles, i was looking for a better handbrake to bring that big motor back under control....didnt get a chance to work on the bleeding lastnight, but will do so tonight...

thanks fellas,
really appreciate it..
