Re: sprocket decision

+10 sucks if you still plan on riding lots of streets. Go with a +2 if your still getting into it. +10 will just make it harder to learn. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE. lol.

Re: sprocket decision

i hear that for every one you go down in the front is equal to up 3 in the back. true of bs? i know a guy where i live who has a 929 also and he went -2+9. his bike tops out at less than 130mph. i think im going to try a -1+5 combo and see how that works. sounds way more streetable to me.

Re: sprocket decision

The depending on the type of riding you do is what dictates your set up.

I have 15 - 52 set up, 1 dn 9 up its awesome.... Rick "Nasty" is a 2 DN 5 up Setup he loves it.... Another 929 set up for another teammate is 5 up and he is complaining about is and is going to a 1 down 5 up set up..... So give a few different ones a try but learn on as close to stock first, because the throttle control is soooooo different from stock ---

Good luck!!!!

you can get a -1 for like $20 but u dont have to a -1 is like a plus 3 in the back. it might be best to go with like a -2 thats like +6 in the back and i would ride with the -2 for few days then put few more in the back only few like +3 IN THE BACK SO YOU DONT HAVE TO CHANGE UR CHAIN.AM NOT SURE U CAN GET A -2 FOR A F4I I THINK -1 ONLY. IS 16T STOCK IN FRON FOR F4I?

IF YOU DONT WANNA HAVE TO GET A NEW CHAIN THE MOST U CAN GO IN THE BACK SHOULD BE LIKE +3

U CAN FIND THEM AT VORTEXRACEING.COM
