Re: Master Cylinder:

I got the 1000rr master on my f4i with a braided line and a adapter at the rear master, and it sucks I got to work it with 2 fingers to slow it down and 3 to lock it up, one finger.... no way.

Re: Master Cylinder:

Ive got the radial Gixxer master on mine, I use one finger for circle combos and off pegs coasters, and two for combos/scrapes. I really have to pull hard for subframe HC scrapes though.

Armenian, I would suggest the cbr1000 for sure....its a sick master cylinder. I just ordered the Brembo 16x18 from hardracing.com for $208. Cant wait for it

Re: Master Cylinder:

Going a little OT but does anyone know where I can get a brake lever for a 1000rr year 2004 for a normal price, dont wanna spend 60bucks just for the lever (need it shipped to Sweden). My is kinda broken so I cant get as much leverage as I want (but still I can lock it up with one finger if I press it hard)

The master might not be the problem. All I have to say is Fullthrottleinc.net!

Re: Master Cylinder:

especially when its free.net

GP Tech works just fine...ALOT of us use it with no problems...and fullthrottle is more likely to strip out.

I run a 05 R1 master w/ GPtech and it is beautiful!

I use a bleeder that hooks up to air compressor from Snap-on ($100)

Re: Master Cylinder:

cool thanks for all the input--does anybody scrape out of hc's/spreaders with only one finger on the handbrake? Seems like it takes a LOT to get the bike off the bar on tank tricks--

Re: Master Cylinder:

I got a Brembo Radial 16x18 in combination with the Fullthrottleinc.net set-up, and it works great... I always use one finger on the handbrake, but when I do 12's, 1 finger isn't enough...

But I'm scared to use 2 fingers on the handbrake, and 1 on the clutch, cause then i'm only holding my bars with 2 weak fingers

Anyone else got this problem ?

Owh BTW, I got like an almost brand new cbr1000rr master, including the reservoir, uncut lever and is just looking all good :YEAH I sell it, for 160 bucks included shipping to the US ( cause I live in Holland, Europe...)
