What kind of brake pads do you guys use?
Time to get pads for the f4i. The honda place doesnt have them in stock. I called 1 place that has EBC in stock. Autozone has some performance plus pads in stock? Never heard of them. Has anyone ever used the ones at autozone. They are $15 per side. Never heard of them but the guy there was saying how good they are.

Although I have a set of ebc hh's in the rear right now and they work well.. but thats just cuz I had a brand new set laying around.

no experiance with performance plus...
I run EBC HH's up front because they grab better...
I run stock in the back. EBC's grab better but they also only last about 1/2 as long, and I don't feel like replacing them or shelling out the cash that often, even though they're a few bucks cheaper. you can also cook your rotor and boil your fluid a lot easier with HH's if your one of the people who rides the brake a lot

Stock honda or yamaha are just Nissin pads, I think just repackaged for the different brands. They are backordered out of japan here, and mine are about done.
I've tried EBC HH's and they squeal like pigs when you go slow, and they can heat up and crack rotors if you are too heavy on the brake or go for a good street session.
EBC streets just get all wierd and grabby when you're super slow, so it's hard to get an idle roll going. I didn't like em
Right now I'm out due to carpal tunnel injury (another week or so to heal) so hopefully the nissin pads will get in by the time I can ride, otherwise I'll try SBS street compounds cuz I've heard good things...

Part number for the rear Honda pads is 43105-MW0-405

thanks, i guess ill be calling the honda place to order me some. last i talked to them they didnt have any in stock. i guess i might as well change the front and rear as they are about shot.

never heard of getting new bolts? i always just put a dap of locktite on each bolt that goes in the caliper when i do cars

i just run galfer pads in the back, its a serious hassle to get honda parts around here( even levers), and they work great anyways.
