not quite true...........I can take corners while rockin highway standups just like I did with clip-ons. I think its a comfort thing mostly.

I had FF on my bike with the upper chopped just above the mirror mounts so the DB bars wouldn't hit.....I actually felt more comfortable that way than the SF set-up I have now. I'm gonna try to get a full set of aftermarket plastics and still debating on whether or not I'm gonna be cutting an aftermarket upper and running it with DB bars, or staying SF'ed. I know every DB hater is gonna ultra flame the upper with DB bars, but it feels perfect when rockin highway and rollin longer endoes!

Re: DB Bars...Big Deal?

I got the LSL conversion. The bars don't look at solid as actual dirtbike bars but they haven't given me any problems yet in terms of when i come down hard from wheelies. If you get actual dirtbike bars, they are made to withstand the forces that come from landing crazy jumps. I personally think I have way better control with these bars on my gixxer.

Re: DB Bars...Big Deal?

if you do go for DB bars on the f4i go for the Renthal twin wall model...its special made in three parts guaranteed unbrakeable with a 28mm wide bar.... In europe or at least in switz. and france if they brake we send em back for replacement...
