Re: 905 cage on a f4i

My 905 cage failed the same day I put it on.I droped a slow speed wheelie
on the left side of the bike. The cage welds poped and folded inward .
Busted case cover and crank rotor.

Re: 905 cage on a f4i

I have a freestyle ingenuity cage on mine. As long as the bolts are kept tight, its bullet proof. I would never ever change, even if i was given another brand

the trick to mounting it is to leave the bolts loose until theyre all threaded in hand tight.

Re: 905 cage on a f4i

my 905 the welds broke on the first drop so I just went and rewelded every weld on it and now it holds up good and then I wrapped some foam around the area that always hits my shins.

yeah lots of people do that one like the pool noodles, but i have lil girl legs so that's not really a big deal to me. but the pipe in the rear of the cage sucks, after you drop it once you can't get that nut off the rod ever again. They made the steel tube there too long it should hug the bike closer imo

it's not putting it on that you should be worried about....try taking it off after a few good wrecks....
