Im curious what tickels your pickle, or keeps you entertained. What type of videos do you love to watch...

Do you like Lifestyle, Jacksass, Pro stuff, colage type, misc type, *****, fighting, what keeps you entertained the whole time...give me your opinions cause i need the imput for the next project...dont tell me a story just give me your on what type of music you like, and what type of style you like to see in a video...

me i love misc stuff...like Don Mccall video defying the sickness..great mix,,, but then again i love your regular streetbike vids...
you know what video i thought was realy great for our sport...was the one put out by i think the redline peeps...the one that was like a tv show the whole time...great interviews...great shots..great riding... i want to know the rider or group by the end of a video...i like to see them laugh talk and be silly...
I watched SIC video last night and the riding is Par, great for todays stuff, but what i loved the most..was how much fun they all had together riding...laughing and being themselfs...like my girl said..i like to watch funny stuff cause you dont have to know someone to laugh at them or think its funny..

i like seeing them in daily life so you feel like you kind of get a lil history on them. i also like a mix of bad arss new stuff, old stuff that people have forgotten about, and a few good crashes here and there

 

I liked revolution. Some thing with lots of new but i wanna see some lifestyle in there too!! Some good underground hip hop is always good.Maybe visits to stunt shops and interviews in and extras area.

 

*****, fights, funny ****, crashes, for music you need variety, some rap, some rock. i like background on the riders too. I think the adrenalin crew 100% illegal vid was a pretty good mix but they didn't actually show any ***** and could have used more crashes. lots of them clownin and having fun and told what they were riding and how long and injuries.

 

I think people need to look to snowboard and skateboard videos for ideas. They have all the riding in them and the life style.. Pluse great music..

 

Here's the thing. I know alot of people make vids targeting people in this sport but for this sport to grow beyond what it is now. The vids need to appeal to people that aren't in this sport aswell. I've seen vids that were were funny and some that I thought just made us look like dumbasses my .

I personally like seeing a mix of things, music and riding. It's nice to see lifestyle too and about the riders.

 

i think people need to make dvds for audiences rather than for themselves.. dont use too much "filler" material, just use good stuff, dont be too repetitive, etc.. think some rockier type music always helps..

my al time fave dvd is travis pastrana and nitro circus 3.. great mix of everything, you get to know the people and its fun, funny and amazing riding all at same time..

2nd best is parental advisory by IQ18films.. higher standard than most stunt dvd's ive seen :YEAH

 

Lifestyle. Just stuntriding and his riders lifestyle. *****, underground stuff, etc is great but if you wanna make an stuntriding dvd, stuntriding and the lifestyle of the riders who appear would be the best. Hey, crashes are included in the stuntriding concept

 

***** yes for sure, NO jackass **** i hate it, thats the major default of SSI, I liek to see people having fun, nto trying to look good on camera, also liek people crashing and like not because they crashed but to show what happens to get to those sick tricks.

 

great point on making the videos for the consumer...they are the ones buying the videos..i mean i dont know any stunter who goes out and buys to many stunt dvds...especialy if there not in the video...

I buy vids and I'm not in any. It's all about support and respect and honestly if I know the guys and what not I'd do it to support them. But I mean making vids that appeal to people that aren't in the stunting scene. It seems it's getting noticed if that one company would like to see something about a show for tv.

 

Oh oops i missed the buy too many dvds. Yeah cause they need money to fix their bikes lol

 

i liked "Rock the 40.oz" kind of old footage, but touched on almost everything i like to see in a video. i would liked to have seen more street sessions and chicks, but boozo made up for that. recently i just watched "Judgement Day 3" for the first time, great video. the thing i liked best about that video was the way they profiled riders from all over the U.S. and they had lots of street sessions, i cant get enough of street riding.

simple recipe.. *****, fights,butts, fishnets, drunken chaos, wheelie repeat... oh and a wreck or two in there also...


inside jokes (that are still funny to everyone - IE: no 30 minutes hot dog to car), laughing and dialog is a must also.

i liek the documentary type stuff, like a camera filming their every day life, which just so happens to be action packed(thanks to editing) and semi scripted.

 

I like videos that are up to date and not filled with old footage One key word: Diversity
Not all 4th gear whoolies and not a year of lot sessions. the prank stuff is cool but most videos go overboard with it. Also a good mix of music. Rap is ok and all but its the same... some good beats with $hit talking recorded over it
