01 R6 subframe is okay.
those carbs will make you an engine brake God.
Second gears blows... literally.

don't get the 2001 R6, carbed and oil fills the air box, just get f4i or 636.. if you can. the R6 is just pretty fragile especially if you're learning on it.

The R6 will work fine, but I will say that I would rather have a fuel injected bike like the F4i but if you get a good deal on the R6 then take it..... Their not that fragile mine has been beat the **** out of and is still going....

Nick from Stuntmetal rides either an 00 or an 01 R6. Seems to be holding up well.

yea nick from stuntmetal has been riding an older r6 for a couple of years , i think hes gone through one motor so far though
