Re: my new powers cages

i see you went with the axle spool sliders also nice. they help keep the back of the bike off the ground giving the rearsets extra room in a crash. nice

Re: my new powers cages

looking good but if you have metallic sliders i would recommend swapping to plastic. if your bike hits the ground with any speed at all the sliders will tend to grab the pavement and flip your bike to the tank. my R6 hit the ground with metallic sliders and it was a curtain call for the tank

Re: my new powers cages

the sliders that come with the cage are fine. it all depends on how you crash. if he would of had plastic sliders the same thing would of happen. 2cent

Re: my new powers cages

numbers on the site
they ran me almost 450 bux candian, i got cages and spools and that was shipped to my door all the way up to newfoundland
the spools are for sure worth it if you ask me
when i laid my r6 on its side i was impressed by them keeping the swing arm up
and not putting much pressure on the foot peg

Re: my new powers cages

question for u guys, i want to get a cage and bar for my bike (2006 r6) sometime in the next few months, but since its such a nice bike, i dont want to cut the fairings, if possible. i will if its the only way. 2 things, are the cages out for the 06 yet? and which of these require cutting? thanks guys, see u all on the very public roads. oooo and also, i said its a nice bike, wont cut the plastics, but gonna stunt it, yeh i know it will get beatin up, but thats just how i wanna do things lol.
